Cycling and walking will be easier with an upgrade of this popular 3km path that links North Pinjarra to Pinjarra. A wider footpath (2.5m) and new asphalt surface will improve pedestrian and bike riding experiences.
The overall path length is 3km, to minimise disruption to the community the path construction will be undertaken in multiple stages.
Stage 1 will commenced on 11 March 2024 starting from the pedestrian bridge at Cornish Gully to South Western Highway for approximately 750 metres.
Stage 2 is in the procurement stage.
At the completion of daily works the path will be open to the public however, caution is recommended as the surface will be rough due to the compacted limestone aggregate.
