Proposed upgrade to Coolup South Road

Upgrades to Coolup South Road will begin this month. The work will upgrade 2.8km of road staged over the next 2-3 financial years and will start from the Coolup townsite and finish just north of the Gibbings Road intersection.
The full road reconstruction will provide a wider road pavement to a sealed standard and increased shoulder width. The vegetation clearing and drainage works are planned to commence prior to the end of 2023 with the road reconstruction, widening and sealing to commence in early 2024.
