The Shire of Murray is extending an invitation for Expressions of Interest from Sporting Clubs and Sporting Associations to take part in the 2025 Murray Sport Fusion Festival. This festival includes cost-free community events, providing an opportunity for the local community to engage in various sporting activities.
Each participating sporting entity is requested to organise a one-hour session for a "Come and Try" version of their sport. Clubs/Associations have the flexibility to conduct multiple sessions targeting different age groups within one time slot or spread them throughout the day.
The event's funding, contingent on the success of the application, is sourced from the AusSport Play Well Participation Grant. If approved, the grant can cover expenses related to coaches/instructors, equipment acquisition (if not already available), and venue/grounds hire.
Participating in this event has the potential to greatly benefit your club and sport by attracting new members to your community.
The Expression of Interest Forms are required as part of the grant application proposal to indicate the partnerships and support that has been obtained.
