About the Role
The Murray Aquatic and Leisure Centre is seeking an enthusiastic cleaner to join the team on a part time basis with great time management and attention to detail.
The role encompass all areas of the Centre and include duties such as
- Vacuuming and spot cleaning
- Sweeping, scrubbing and/or mopping hard floor areas.
- Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, changerooms and surroundings.
- Restocking consumables and dispensers
- De-cobwebbing and cleaning windows, glass partitions and doors
- Disinfecting touch points and fitness equipment
- Collection and disposal of rubbish
The position is offered Tuesday to Saturday, commencing at 4:00am during the week (4 hours Tuesday - Thursday and 5 hours Fridays) and 6:00am (2 hours) Saturdays, working 38 hours per fortnight. You will work alongside our current cleaning star Tuesday to Thursday and independently Friday and Saturdays.
Cleaning experience is preferred and all applicants must be willing to complete a police check.
The position is offered at $33.74 per hour, with additional penalties (25%) applicable for weekend hours with the opportunity for additional hours from time to time.
