The Shire of Murray 2025 Local Government Election was held on Saturday 18 October. Elected Council Members, with four-year terms are:
- Prue George
- Stuart Kirkham
- Rob Cashman
- Stewart Carter
And one Elected Council Member with a two-year term is:
The Shire will retain its current Shire President, with Douglas McLarty elected unopposed.
A swearing in ceremony will be held at the Ordinary Council Meeting at 5:30pm on Thursday 23 October at the Shire of Murray Administration Building. The Deputy President will be elected by Council during this meeting. The community and media are welcome to attend.
Following the swearing in ceremony, the full Shire of Murray Council will comprise:
- Shire President, Douglas McLarty
- Cr Ange Rogers
- Cr Prue George
- Cr Stuart Kirkham
- Cr Rob Cashman
- Cr Stewart Carter
- Cr Geoff Black
- Cr Steve Lee
- Cr Nicole Willis
The terms of current Councillors Ange Rogers, Steve Lee, and Nicole Willis will expire in 2027.
